Biography: |
Best known for his painting Monument to War (1936), Freddie painted the first surrealist picture to be shown in Denmark. He studied under Dali, and was known to produce violent images of sexuality and revolt. He then, decidedly, evolved toward more lyrical abstraction with his two films, Final Refusal of a Request for a Kiss (1949), and Eaten Horizons (1950).
