Biography: |
Hantai started out as a Surrealist, whose paintings exhibited biological symbolism. His first exhibit was in Paris in 1953, and was introduced by Andre Breton. He later went on to become a Lyrical Abstractionist. His works include “Composition”(1953) and “Whites” (1973).
