The Spanish born artist gave dome support to surrealism in certain of his works. These works included ones completed from 1923 to 1924, then again from 1928 to 1930, the metal constructions of the year between 1930 and 1931, as well as the poems of 1935 and the play entitled Le Desir attrape par la queue in 1943.
