| Biography: |
Istler was a painter and an engraver and he had a tendency towards abstractionism. He was a member of the Ra Group and later the Revolutionary Surrealist Group. His works were not discovered again until the loosening of the Communist Regime in Prague, and these works include “Ecstacy” (1951).
