Biography: |
He was born in Paris and he began his career as a poet, but his interest turned to film, and that is what he is mainly known for. He made several shorts, one of which is "Record." He also worked with Luis Bunuel on "L'Age d'or." He moved to England in 1938 and collaborated on the review "VVV" (1943-44). He also contributed to several anthologies, such as "Message from Nowhere" (1944) and "Free Union" (1949). He published "En marge du cinema francais" in 1954.
