Biography: |
His artistic studies were completed in at the Fine Arts Academy of Reykjavik, Oslo, and Florence between 1950 and 1954. His first exhibition was in Florence in 1955. His canvases are generally huge, and his works are somewhat political and opinionated, reverting to the Dadaist element in Surrealism. Some of his works include “The Abolition of Races” (1961), “Appetite is a Crime” (!963), “Tortures” (1970), and “The Life of Van Gogh” (1975).
