| Biography: |
Georges became a known figure in surrealist art upon being cited as one of the guests in the "Chateau du Merveilleux" in the Manifeste du surrealisme (1924). He showed paintings and collages in the Galerie Surrealiste in 1927 and 1930. In 1949, he immigrated to America , where he exhibited at the Weingartner Gallery in New York in 1955 and at the University of LongIsland in 1961. In 1966, he returned to Paris and showed at the Galerie Mona Lisa, where he was given a tribute by old friends.
