Name: Ernst Fuchs
Year of Birth & Death: (1930 - ?)
Biography: He studied art, particularly sculpture and painting, until 1950, when he started his own gallery. He ran the gallery with several other artists from his home of Vienna until 1967, and in 1968, he attended the summer school session of the Bezelel School of Art in Jerusalem. From then on, he made frequent trips to America, Paris, and Israel. Some of his better known works include “The Island of Aphrodite before the Wall of Heaven” (1974), “The Ogre and the Doll,” and “The Serenade.”
