| Biography: |
Born in Vienna, he began his career as a folk-singer and dancer, travelling throughout Europe and Africa. In 1958, he went to Paris and started painting. He later became a member of the Fantastic Realist Group of Vienna. His paintings, such as "Soldier with Butterflies" (1967), are known for their vivid use of color.
