Name: Asger Jorn
Year of Birth & Death: (1914 - ?)
Biography: Jorn was a Danish Abstractionist, then a Revolutionary Surrealist, a member of the Cobra group, and finally a member of Situation International. He wrote several books, including “pour la forme; ebauche d’une methodologie des arts” (1958), and “La Langue verte et la cuite” (1968) with Noel Arnaud. He founded the Silkeborg Museum in Denmark. His works include Miming Nothing (or almost nothing)” (1967) and “Woman So Close” (1968).
